Roots Academy is a place based, reggio inspired program dedicated to serving children beginning at age 3 and continuing through 6th grade.
We offer developmentally appropriate curriculums based upon the chronological age of each child as dictated by the NAEYC. Our educational goals are to prepare children socially, physically, emotionally and cognitively for their continued educational experiences.
At Roots Academy, we value the individuality of each and every child, understanding that children grow and develop at at their own pace. Young children are naturally curious and eager learners.
They learn best when they are able to make choices and to follow many of their own interests and desires to learn.
The staff is comprised of professionals that have been educated and trained in the unique field of early childhood and elementary education.
As teachers of young children, we consciously nurture life long learners.
We are committed to enriching each child's early childhood education so that they are self confident and ready to begin their elementary school experiences.
