Overview
Christian leaders start at Woodway Christian School. WCS, a ministry of First Woodway Baptist Church, is an accredited, private Christian school for pre-Kindergarten 3-year-olds through eighth grade that provides academic excellence in a Christ-centered setting. Students at WCS consistently rank in the top quarter of the nation on their standardized test scores. These results are achieved because of low student-to-teacher ratios and through teacher-led, hands-on learning opportunities which allow students to flourish in an environment that focuses on individual abilities. In addition to core subjects, the curriculum includes Bible classes and a weekly chapel service. Enrichment classes include Spanish, computer, art, physical education, intramurals, music and orchestra, along with educational field trips. By partnering with families, WCS helps students develop emotionally, spiritually, academically and physically into adults who reach their God-given potential. For more information, contact the school office at 254/772-1298 or visit the school website at woodwaychristianschool.org for registration information and to view the virtual tour.
Woodway Christian School is a member of the Texas Association of Baptist Schools and is fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission of the Texas Association of Baptist Schools.
