Overview
Established in 1920, Western Christian High School provides outstanding academics in a Christ-centered environment.
WCHS boasts a 100% graduation rate with 95% to 100% of our graduates accepted to the college or university of their choice.
Western Christian High School is located on a beautiful campus in Upland, California.
Besides the excellent classroom facilities with cutting-edge technology (including SmartBoards, iPads/tablets in the classroom) WCHS has a well-appointed gymnasium and beautiful athletic field.
Western Christian has a moderate population of students who come from all over the world with a total enrollment of approximately 400 students in grades 9-12. WCHS offers over 14 Honors and AP courses with various extra-curricular activities, including S.T.E.M., CSF, NHS, NEHS, Interact Rotary International Service Club, Art Club, Ceramics Club, and Drama Club. Our international program currently hosts students from 7 different countries. WCHS students receive a global education where they are exposed to other cultures and beliefs.
We are an accredited college preparatory school located in Rancho Cucamonga, California. We serve approximately 900 students in grades K-12. Our students come from Upland, Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, and the surrounding Inland Empire communities. As of fall 2011, we have opened enrollment to international students from all over the world! UC Academy is an independent, non-denominational Christian school. Parents and students are not required to be Christians to attend the school; however, they are required to be supportive of the school`s mission, philosophy, and doctrinal position. We are grateful to have many strong Christian families in our school, and we are just as welcoming of those in search of faith and spiritual growth.
A major emphasis of our academic program is to prepare students for college. UC Academy is dually accredited with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the Association of Christian Schools International. Our high school courses are approved by the University of California and the California State College systems.
