School Overview
Overview
West Side Christian School was established in 1985 as a ministry of West Side Baptist Church to assist our families in the total education of their children.
All of the curriculum at WSCS is Christian in orientation, and/or in harmony with Christian values and beliefs.
We rely heavily on the ABeka & Bob Jones University (BJU) curriculum, as well as selected materials that have been approved by the administration.
The educational philosophy of West Side Christian School is based on a God-centered view that all truth is God's truth, and that the Bible is the inspired and the only infallible authoritative Word of God which contains this truth.
At Maranatha Baptist Christian School we believe in raising our children with high academics, but more importantly, a love for Jesus. We provide a family orientated learning atmosphere, with a focus on quality education and nurturing our students in a Christian environment. We provide academics for K4 12th grade. Our curriculum includes phonetic-based reading, diagnostic testing, individually paced learning, character building, and tradition values. Our students graduate with a college-preparatory diploma, a lifetime of friends and family, and a knowledge of Jesus.Maranatha Baptist Christian School is a ministry of Bible Baptist Church.
