Villa Esperanza Services School offers a comprehensive educational program serving students from 5 22 years old who have special needs associated with autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities. Individualized Educational Programs (IEP) outline each child's specific goals with a comprehensive approach to education, consisting of collaborations between all services including: Speech & Language Therapy Occupational Therapy Behavior Intervention Music, Recreational & Art Therapists Villa's highly trained staff offers an individualized program for each student including instruction in social skills, communication, behavior, independent living skills and academics.
From campuses in Pasadena and West Los Angeles, Frostig School provides a rich educational experience for children and teens with complex learning differences. Students in grades 1-12 thrive in a program that addresses their academic, social and emotional needs. Frostig is accredited by the Western Assn. of Schools and Colleges and all completed courses, credits and high school diplomas are recognized by the California Department of Education. Our teachers are credentialed in special education with on-going professional development and/or training for all school staff. There is a low student to teacher ratio (6:1 in Pasadena, 4:1at Frostig School West). Frostig School primarily serves Los Angeles County and offers student transportation.
