Overview
Victory Christian Academy is an independent, non-denominational Christian school serving Lake, Porter, and Laporte Counties in Indiana; Offering classes for Preschool through 12th Grade. Teaching and learning take place within the framework of a Biblical worldview.
All classroom instruction is presented from a Biblical perspective that sets high standards and encourages students to excel.
Students are encouraged to develop their full potential and gifted uniqueness.
Each child is challenged to make a personal commitment to Jesus Christ and to live life as His disciple.
To be an intentional voice in the lives of our students by discipling them through Christ-centered education and preparing them to engage with and change the world.
Looking to the future, VCA would be an example of academic excellence, large enough to compete academically and athletically, well-respected in the community, centrally located on its own land and accessible to multiple communities, a bridge-builder to churches, businesses, and the home-schooling community, a planter of other Christian schools, and supported financially by area churches, individuals, and businesses.
Portage Christian School mission is to impart God's wisdom for Godly living to our students through the education process.
Christian education involves more than just a chapel service of a few Bible classes; it is an extension of the Christian home and church which integrates Christian thinking into all areas of study.
It requires a commitment from parents for academic and spiritual excellence; it requires a commitment from the student to develop spiritual, intellectual and physical gifts to the fullest potential; it requires a commitment from the faculty and staff which makes this development possible.
