The Montessori School of Northampton is dedicated to and inspired by the principles and ideas of Dr.
Maria Montessori. Dr. Montessori, the first woman to be trained as a physician in Italy, developed a comprehensive method of early education based on years of observation and study of young children.
The Smith College Campus School in Northampton, Massachusetts, is a coeducational laboratory day school for children ages 5 -12.
It is open to all children in the surrounding communities.
