Overview
The Academy of St. Bartholomew exists to assist the parents in the educational process of their children by providing an atmosphere of faith and learning.
The school community strives to exemplify the person of Jesus, not only by word, but especially by example.
Each member of the school faculty tries to develop the unique personal giftedness of each and every child by fostering an attitude of self-worth and self-discipline.
We challenge the students to use all of the potential God has given them.
Bethany Lutheran School has offered a quality education in a Christ-centered environment since it opened in 1935.
Bethany Lutheran School's mission is to train every child's head, heart, and hands for a lifetime of discipleship to God and service to their fellowman.
We believe that Christian education is a vital part of the Great Commission in which God commanded the church to, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations".
We believe that the purpose of Christian education is to provide quality education founded in God's Word and guided by the Holy Spirit, to cultivate Christian values. Bethany engages students with 1:1 implementation of technology throughout the school with Chromebooks, Chromebook tablets, and iPads. Bethany also has a Yamaha, "Music in Education" Keyboard lab for Music Instruction, and wireless data acquisition in its modern science lab.
