Thank you for your interest in Summit Schools! Summit Schools is an alternative to public and parochial education, but even more than that, we are a close knit community whose mission is to challenge the educational growth of each individual child.
As the only independent, non-religious school in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, we enjoy our unique position and are proud of the progress our students make individually and as a whole.
Our students excel because of our high expectations, multi-sensory approach to teaching and learning, and attention to the individual needs and gifts of each child.

Our dedicated faculty continuously strives to meet the challenge of preparing students for the future in an ever-changing world and collectively create an excellent educational program that allows students to become confident, independent thinkers who demonstrate a love for learning throughout their lives.
Isaac Newton Christian Academy is a non-denominational, Christian school serving families in Cedar Rapids and the surrounding area. We are accredited by the State of Iowa and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), and all of our teachers are State-certified.
Our mission is "Christlike Character -- Academic Excellence". We have a rigorous academic program, and high test scores.
We teach all subjects from a Christian Biblical Worldview.
We are known for developing caring, responsible, servant leaders and advanced students.
We serve students Pre-K through High School. Our high school features dual credit courses from Colorado Christian University with adjunct CCU professors on our staff. We also have dual credit courses offered online through LeTourneau University, and are part of the Iowa online AP academy.
We offer before and after school care, as well as an extended day program for our Pre-K students.
