Overview
Saint Vincent Ferrer is a Catholic, college preparatory high school established in the tradition of St.
Dominic; our mission is to provide a supportive and challenging academic environment and to teach young women from diverse backgrounds to develop confidence in their abilities.
We encourage our students to be effective witnesses of Christ's love and productive members of society.
Saint Vincent Ferrer High School subscribes to the philosophy that education is a process of growth and development - a process based on strong faith in God and on respect for each person as an individual and as a responsible member of society.
Cathedral High School, a Catholic college preparatory school of the Archdiocese of New York located in Manhattan, welcomes young women of all faiths and cultures.
We are a community of students, teachers, staff and parents committed to excellence in education, as well as the continued growth of our students in religious maturity, moral integrity and a sense of social justice. While students are constantly challenged to create foundations for lifelong learning and to develop the habits of mind essential to academic success, full attention is also given to the emotional, creative, social and spiritual aspects of each young woman.
