Overview
The staff of St. Paul the Apostle School believes that our school's purpose is to offer a Christian education enabling all students to achieve increasing levels of academic accomplishments with positive growth in social and emotional well-being.
We accept the responsibility by providing opportunities for all students to reach their maximum educational potential through a challenging and well-rounded curriculum and co-curricular activities.
Joliet Montessori School implements a philosophy and an educational method developed by Dr. Maria Montessori, whose observations and theories continue to provide the foundation for a deeper understanding of how children learn.
The basic idea in her approach is that every child carries, unseen within, the person he/she will become.
In order for children to reach their physical, intellectual and social potential, they must have freedom within established boundaries; a freedom achieved through order and self-discipline.
