Overview
SMIS serves Pre-Kindergarten 3 and 4 year olds through 12th-grade students
St. Michael Indian School was founded by Saint Katharine Drexel of the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament in 1902.
The school's mission is to provide students from local Native American communities with a quality education rooted in Catholic values, is sensitive to Native heritage, teaches leadership skills, and enables students to contribute in a culturally diverse world.
SMIS is dual accredited and is in-person non-dormitory day school only.
Immanuel Mission is located near the four corners where Arizona, Utah, New Mexico and Colorado come together.
We strive to provide a quality, Bible-based education for students K-12.
The purpose of Immanuel Mission School and Carrizo Christian Academy is to glorify God by providing a Christ-centered education to the children of our community.
This education will be based on a God-centered view of man and the world as found in the Bible.
