This Gospel value approach to education makes St. Mary School different from other public and private schools It is the purpose of St. Mary Elementary School and Middle School to provide a course of religious studies based on Gospel values and the teachings of the Church Strong elementary academic experience for the demands of the future An opportunity for students to nurture their creativity through exposure to music and the arts An opportunity for spiritual growth through prayer, liturgy, and para liturgical services An atmosphere of acceptance and support to enable the individual to develop a mature personality.
Mature, responsible teachers who are good role models and who will reinforce the Christian values and attitudes upon which the school is founded A setting for learning that will create opportunities and encouragement for the students to accept ownership and responsibility for their learning Continuing communication between home and school by encouraging parents to actively participate in their role as educators.
All faculty and volunteers who work with children at St. Mary School are required to complete the "Protecting God's Children" workshop.
