St. John the Evangelist School exists to help foster the traditions of Catholic education, create a Christ-centered community, and nurtures the Christian values of mercy and compassion. "Reaching the Challenges through Catholic Education".
Sacred Heart Cathedral School was founded in 1907 and has served the needs of the parishioners of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart and the East Hill area of Pensacola ever since.
A strong spiritual emphasis is part of daily life at Sacred Heart School.
Students attend daily religion classes and participate in Mass as altar servers, praise band and by taking an active part in the liturgy.
Students are given the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation at various times throughout the year.
