Overview
St. George`s is a coed boarding school for grades 9-12 located on a hilltop overlooking the ocean in Newport, Rhode Island.
The school is continually evolving to meet the needs and aspirations of today`s students: Our courses offer innovative teaching in traditional subject areas. We provide opportunities for connect learning - and the chance for students to pursue ideas and interests that excite and energize them.
We are test-optional because our priority is to make a St. George`s education accessible to students from all backgrounds.
We believe that students should have the power to decide how best to present themselves to the admission committee, and we value equity during the admission process.
The spirit of community permeates our classrooms where students participate in dynamic conversations and collaborative work with their peers and teachers.
St. George`s students continue to be well-prepared by the school`s curriculum to apply to and succeed at the most selective colleges and universities in the country.
Portsmouth Abbey School is a Catholic, co-educational boarding and day school for students in grades 9 through 12.
The school is located on a beautiful 525-acre campus along Narragansett Bay, just a few miles from Newport, RI. For over 90 years, the Abbey`s liberal arts curriculum has prepared students for lives of significance and purpose.
This education is grounded in the Western intellectual tradition and teaches students to solve problems, communicate ideas, work together, and innovate.
