Overview
The staff of St. Francis de Sales is committed to the spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional and social growth of each student.
St. Francis de Sales School strives for academic excellence in an environment permeated with Catholic values.
The School prepares each student to confidently meet the challenges of the future and to live out the Gospel message in service to the Church and the civic community.
Lebanon Christian School was founded in 1973 by Rev. Darl Swisher, who believed that children in the area should have the opportunity to obtain a quality academic education based on the Christian worldview.
Today LCS has nearly 300 students enrolled in preschool - eighth grade, representing a broad range of churches and denominations.
The combination of Christian staff, advanced Bible-based curriculum, and spiritually nurturing activities creates a learning environment that is second to none.
The purpose of Lebanon Christian School is first and foremost that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion forever and ever.
In order to accomplish this in an educational setting, we must first provide a Christ-centered education for the children of the area without distinction to race, religious creed, or academic capability.
The goal of the school is to lead each student to a voluntary commitment of his life to the Lordship of Christ; to develop each student's God-given spiritual, physical, mental, social, and artistic gifts to their fullest potential; and to lead each student to the spiritual maturity to out-think and out-live the secular world, thus enabling him to exercise Godly dominion over the creation and thereby glorify God and enjoy Him forever.
