Overview
While recognizing the family as the primary educator, the mission of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School is to foster a visible community of believers.
Together we grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ, participate in Catholic worship, respond with Christian service to the community, and provide a challenging academic program to meet the needs of all students.
St. Charles Borromeo School Community has a collaborative commitment to Catholic education consisting of parents, staff, students, and parish.
Priority is given to promoting a four-fold mission: forming a community of faith, worshipping, proclaiming the message of Jesus, and reaching out in service to others.
The Academy of the Sacred Heart is an independent Catholic school open to children of all faiths that offers a safe and happy environment for students to learn and grow. Our preschool through eighth grade program focuses on the whole child, building strong academic skills while fostering independent learning and communication. Curriculum highlights include: 2 science labs, a computer lab, Maker Space, French and Spanish, daily Physical Education, and recognized art, music and athletic programs.
Founded in 1818 by St. Philippine Duchesne, the Academy was the first of many Sacred Heart schools established in the U.S. Our mission is to educate and inspire the heart and mind of each child to become a courageous and confident leader who knows and loves God, and who reveals that love by serving others. Graduates are young men and women well prepared for the challenges of high school, college, and beyond.
