Overview
Southwind Montessori strives to offer an educational environment that is both stimulating, inviting, and most of all fun! We accept enrollment on a first come first serve basis.
We keep our enrollment small. It is best for the child & teacher.
We prefer to enroll children by reference from patrons, former patrons & friends.
It keeps a family type atmosphere that is pleasant for all.
The school is a privately owned and operated business.
We have been in business here for twenty-nine years.
Children's House, founded in 1971 as Norman's first Montessori school, is a not-for-profit early education center emphasizing a Montessori approach to education.
Our students enjoy active learning in a child-centered environment carefully prepared to include developmentally appropriate activities.
Independence and freedom of choice are emphasized, along with individualized attention by teachers who have been educated in child development and are qualified to enrich your child's early learning experience in a warm, supportive social environment.
