Overview
At Sheridan, learning is empowerment. A vibrant K-8 progressive school with no more than 230 students, we intentionally develop in students an authentic desire to learn, to frame questions, to seek answers, to lead, to explore, and to create. This culture of intellectual and creative energy provides students with opportunities to find and build their voice, their passions, and their talents at an early age.
Our balanced approach to education in the elementary and middle school years sets our students on the path for finding joy in lifelong learning.
Challenge at Sheridan is not limited to the classroom.
Our 130-acre Mountain Campus provides students with an opportunity to move outside the comfort of their regular surroundings and experience new levels of challenge in nature - a perspective that plays a vital role in developing confidence and character.
Maret is a vibrant, K-12 independent school in Washington, DC. We ignite our students` potential and foster their academic, artistic, and athletic talents; and promote their well-being. We develop the mind, nurture curiosity, welcome challenge, embrace joy, and build community that is equitable and inclusive.
