The Seattle Area German American School (SAGA) is a German language immersion school offering programs in Preschool, PreK, Kindergarten - 5th Grade. Founded in 2005 the SAGA School fosters a vibrant community grounded in German-speaking culture and inspires students to become passionate learners and engaged global citizens. SAGA also offers afterschool school programs for students Kindergarten through High School, enrichment programs and preschool playgroups. No previous German is required in Preschool programs.
Children entering our Preschool program no prior German language is required. Children entering our Elementary program in 1st Grade or higher German knowledge is required.
Bertschi School educates children to become compassionate, confident and creative learners in a global community. But this is not just the mission of the school, it`s also how Bertschi operates every day.
Bertschi students are taught to know who they are, who their fellow students are, and the impact and influence they have on their community.
Staff, teachers, parents, and students work together to establish an environment that is inclusive, supportive, and respectful.
