Overview
Madrasa Tul Ilm is a private school. The beginnings of MTI School of Knowledge can be traced back more than fifteen years.
It was originally a home schooling program established by four African American devoted sisters: Sr.
Muslimah Mustafa, Sr. Jamila Al-Khattab, Sr. Mumina Blackman, and Sr. Saeeda Amatullah. The school began with the involvement of only a couple families.
Soon, however, the program expanded from just two families to six.
The school has come a long way since the beginning.
Little by little the school has added on to what it already had.
The Masjid first started out with a small building downtown.
Eman Schools offers an Islamic environment that promotes moral and ethical values that are part of Islamic teachings.
The environment at our school is conducive to the academic, social, spiritual and physical growth of our children.
