Overview
At SJA, we pride ourselves on our high academic standards and encourage our students to strive for excellence.
Our curriculum encompasses Religion, Language Arts (which includes Reading, Writing, Spelling, and Grammar), Handwriting (K-8), Phonics (K-3), Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
The curriculum is further enriched by weekly classes in Special subjects, including PE, Music, Art, Library and Computer (K-8). Providing a disciplined, structured environment allows our students to thrive.
Our smaller class sizes (7:1 ratio) allow our teachers to meet the individual learning needs of each student and nurture their unique gifts. Classroom technology, including CleverTouch boards, chromebooks, and computers are just one of the many methods used by our faculty to individualize their instruction to the academic needs of each child.
It is the mission of St. Paul School to provide the appropriate educational environment that will enable its students to grow spiritually, educationally, socially, physically, and emotionally. St. Paul school strives to provide the environment and experiences that will make each child's faith development and throughout that individual's life.
Saint Paul is a Christian, Catholic School that maintains the belief it has the responsibility to provide its students with the appropriate programs that will enable them to become productive citizens of the community.
This involves attaining the values, skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to live and love as Jesus taught us.
Therefore St. Paul School strives to provide for Christian development through formal religious training, opportunities for prayer of various types, and an atmosphere that nurtures respect for all; provide for academic development through competent teachers, quality curriculum, attention to individual difference, and appropriate materials; provide for personal development by stressing personal responsibility, positive self-image, the development of interpersonal relationship, and good physical health; and provide an ongoing process of assessment of the delivery of these varied services to the students in its charge.
