Overview
Rolling Hills Country Day School is a premiere Kindergarten through Grade 8 school in the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
Our elementary school (Kindergarten to Grade 5) and Middle School (Grade 6 through 8) offer small class-sizes and specialized educators in multiple subjects.
We are an independent, WASC accredited private school serving families in Palos Verdes, Torrance, San Pedro, Lomita, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Manhattan Beach.
Located on a beautiful campus in Rolling Hills Estates with spacious classrooms, we provide individualized education to students in kindergarten through 8th grade in a warm and caring environment.
Small Classes. Big Education. Our teachers assess each child`s academic, social, and emotional profile to create a personalized learning plan for every student. Our small class sizes of around 12-15 students allow teachers to focus on each student`s individual learning needs.
A Loving and Caring Environment. Our students love coming to school. Our teachers bring joy into the process of learning and discover what inspires each student. It is in this type of environment that children are free to take risks, grow academically, and are encouraged to be their best selves.
A Commitment to Character Building. Our teaching of the character qualities caring, respect, attitude, gratitude, and self-control has its roots in the founding of our school and is integrated into classroom discussions and curriculum every day. A strong character coupled with strong academics enables students to lead a meaningful life.
