Overview
Rio Lindo Adventist Academy is unique. We are the Adventist boarding academy for the Northern California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.
Our co-educational high school offers a commitment to excellence in its quiet, safe and picturesque location.
Our culturally diverse student body creates an opportunity to interact globally while fostering a close-knit community based on mutual respect.
Every student is encouraged to develop their potential in a nurturing environment. Staff, who live on campus and students work, study, pray, and socialize together, create lasting relationships unique to the boarding school experience.Rio`s ultimate goal in teaching is to maximize every student`s potential, no matter the background; to make student thinkers and not mere reflectors of others` opinions, whether in the classroom, church, or among peers and our hope is that every student will graduate and make a difference in the world by continuing to learn, serve, and lead.
Cardinal Newman is a Catholic, college preparatory high school for young men and women.
Our mission is to educate our students in the wholeness of mind, body, and spirit through the teachings of Jesus Christ; applying their leadership skills and talents in service to others.
We challenge each student to work to his highest potential in the lifelong pursuit of faith, learning and service. The Cardinal Newman High School community has committed itself to the principles of Christian education and the pursuit of educational excellence.
In placing strong emphasis on the teachings of Christ, the faculty, staff, students and parents strive to work together, in respect and concern, to establish a living Christian community.
Cardinal Newman High School recognizes that the primary responsibility for the spiritual, moral, intellectual, physical and social development of the student belongs to the family; the school serves to facilitate and supplement the family in this vital task of the student's development.
