Overview
We are Providence Montessori School, the oldest Montessori School in Kentucky, and the only American Montessori Society (AMS), accredited school in Central Kentucky. Providence is a member of the International Montessori Council and also accredited with the NCPSA. We provide a quality and comprehensive Montessori program for approximately 300 students agest 18 month to 14 years (Toddlers through 8th grade).
Community Montessori School has served the Lexington community since 1970.
Community Montessori School is accredited by the Association Monessori International, (AMI), Maria Montessori's original method which is recognized world wide.
Community Montessori School is accredited by the Kentucky Department of Education, the Kentucky non-public Schools Commission, and the National Council for private school Accreditation.
Community Montessori School, is a non sectarian school and welcomes children of every race, color, or national origin.
