School Overview
Overview
The goals for the students of Peace Lutheran address both spiritual and educational needs.
We strive to prepare the students to live life in the proper relationship with God and expose them to the basic academic areas through an integrated approach.
To achieve these goals, a combination of Faith Alive, Story Hour, Scripture Bites, Open Court, Saxon Math and additional pertinent curricular materials that are developmentally appropriate for children are used.
Every attempt is made to meet the individual needs of students during their tenure at Peace Lutheran.
It is our intent that the children will exit the program at Peace Lutheran with the necessary skills for entry into the next level of education in a faith-based or public school with a strong Christian Foundation.
Okeechobee Christian Academy seeks to provide an education based upon Biblical principles.
It is our belief that the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God and that salvation is by faith alone in Jesus Christ who as God in the flesh, came to die, to be buried, and rise again for our sins.
It is our desire to provide the best Christian education and training for all children, for God is not a respecter of persons.
Okeechobee Christian Academy is fully accredited by the Florida Council of Private Schools.
Our teachers are accredited by the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools.
Okeechobee Christian Academy is a member of the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools, the National Honor Society of Secondary Schools and the Hillsborough County Christian Educators Association.
We seek to reach out to our community with the Good News of Jesus Christ in an effort to lead others to Him.
It is our desire to see the Gospel shared with people everywhere, and that our students will be ambassadors for Christ.
