Overview
Established in 1933, Our Lady Star of the Sea School is a member of the Archdiocese of Washington and is a fully accredited, private Catholic school for PK-8th grade.
Located on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay in Solomons, we are a unique, family-oriented school where staff, students, and families form a supportive community.
We believe that through a solid Catholic education, which incorporates instruction, discipline, responsibility, respect, and Christian example, our students will have a strong foundation on which to build their lives.
Cardinal Hickey Academy is a K-8th grade Regional Catholic school and Montessori preschool supported by three neighboring parishes.
The school has families enrolled from Calvert County, southern Anne Arundel County, and Prince George's County.
It is the mission of CHA to provide each child an education focused on faith, community and excellence to nurture the whole child's moral, character and academic development.
