School Overview
Overview
Oak Park Academy was formed as an alternative to public school education.
Opened as a ministry by United Pentecostal Church in 1988, Oak Park Academy has devoted itself to "Training up a child in the way that they should go." The curriculum used by Oak Park Academy is called Accelerated Christian Education (ACE), and combines all subjects, both core and elective, with Christian character traits.
Oak Park Academy covers grades K-12, and works with students at their own pace levels in each subject.
Not all students, we have found out, are in the same grade level in all their subjects, our curriculum adjusts to that, and helps children who have difficulty in some subjects - while helping them to maintain in the subjects that they excel in.
Seton Catholic School exists to serve Jesus Christ as an integral part of the mission of Saint Andrew, Saint Mary, and Holy Family parishes. Worship, academics, community, and service comprise a quality Catholic Education. Sharing the message of Jesus is at the heart of our mission, underlying everything that we do. Through the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the faculty and staff strive to teach as Jesus did, working with parents and guardians (as the primary educators) to guide students toward spiritual, academic and personal excellence.
