Founded in 1980, The Neighborhood Schoolhouse is a progressive preschool and elementary school.
Located on beautiful Solar Hill, the school's gently sloping grounds offer two playgrounds and direct access to more than 400 acres of woodlands with extensive nature trails.
Hilltop's mission is for students to practice responsible independance in a caring community of curious, ciritical thinkers and thoughtful citizens.
The Montessori approach to education promotes genuine respect for the potential of every child. Hilltop's multi-age classrooms, caring and experienced teachers, and integrated curriculum enable a sense of self and wonder to flourish.
