The Montessori Children's House of Kenosha, founded in 1978, is an independent, private Montessori pre-school and kindergaten that educates children 2 1/2 throguh 6 years old.
Praised by parents and educators, MCH has grown into a vibrant community of children educated in an authentic Montessori classoom. MCH respects children as different from adults and as individuals who learn at their own pace. We recognize the "preschool years" as critical years for learning and that children create themselves throguh pruposeful activity. MCH also believes that children flourish in a joyful atmosphere, which balances intellectual stimulation, creativity and love. We help children capture the joy of learning and become confident, competent learners for life.
The Kenosha Montessori School strives to cultivate and honor children's innate love of learning as they prepare for a life of purpose, integrity, and academic accomplishment.
KMS adheres to the Montessori philosophy of educating the âwhole childâ, through the use of self-directed instruction and self-correcting materials.
