Overview
Midland Montessori School provides an environment based on life experiences and reflections which encourages children to develop Respect, Responsibility and Resourcefulness.
Montessori children learn through hands-on experience, investigation and research.
They become actively engaged in their activities. Maria Montessori said, "The hand is the chief teacher of the child." Blending the ages, the Montessori core program operates from September to June, five days a week, three and one half hours a day, morning and afternoon.
The core program offers the child a step toward independence in the environment specially created for the Montessori child.
This fun and happy setting offers the child an opportunity to explore language and sensorial skills, music, practical life, art, math materials, geography, science, culture, friendships and sense of community.
At Saint Brigid of Kildare, nourished by The Word and Sacraments, we find life in Christ by gathering disciples for worship, service, and education.
Our Kindergarten program is designed to meet your child's needs and accept them where they are in their development.
We teach, encourage, and nurture the whole child, helping them to develop to their fullest potential - spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically.
Our Kindergarten class size is never more than 22 students and we have a paraprofessional to keep teacher-student ratios small and provide the instruction and attention they need to be successful.
We are a Catholic Liberal Arts School focusing on getting students to discover the truth and the beauty in God's creations. We integrate subjects, use classic works in literature, and include our faith in everything we do.
