Overview
With Jesus, Mary and Joseph as our models, Holy Family Parish Catholic School prepares students for roles in the church, home, civic and global communities by educating them in their Catholic faith and in those skills necessary to foster academic excellence.
We believe that the education of students is a home, school, parish and community partnership; children grow optimally in an environment of safety and love; students' spiritual, intellectual, social, and physical gifts are to be developed in the school community; the various learning styles of students are best met by using a variety of teaching methods; and students are to be educated in the skills needed to be critical thinkers and life-long learners.
Founded in 1923, Shorecrest Preparatory School is a PK3 through 12th grade coed, nonsectarian independent school located in the Tampa Bay Area.
Known for its student-centered approach to teaching and learning, Shorecrest is continually on the leading edge of innovation in education, earning the Apple Distinguished School recognition since 2016.
Shorecrest offers a number of 9-12th grade signature programs including the Center for Medical Sciences; the Global Scholars Initiative; the STEAM Certificate Program and the Ross Roeder Institute for Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurship and Economics.
Shorecrest offers its students a nationally-recognized performing and visual arts program, competitive Athletics, opportunities for engaged service learning, and the best-fit college placement in the region.
It is ranked the #1 STEM High School in Pinellas County according to Niche.com.
