Overview
Holy Cross Lutheran School has a tradition of excellence that dates back to 1849, preparing children from three year old preschool through eighth grade to succeed as future leaders in their church and their community.
Holy Cross is blessed with an extraordinary support staff of Christian professionals who love the Lord and His children.
Our teachers are specially called to provide moral, ethical, spiritual and academic guidance to our students.
Our school is also blessed to provide teacher aides in our three and four year old preschool to assist the preschool teacher.
Lutheran schools are known for their academic quality and for their ability to aid moral development.
Parents are proud of Holy Cross and are willing to entrust their children to the school for complete education.
They are religious schools which include daily teaching about religion and integrate religious beliefs into everything they teach.
Peace Lutheran School has as its purpose, to give a Christian education to as many children as possible and therefore is anxious to offer the educational program of its Christian Day School to all of the parents who desire a Christ-centered education for their children.
However, staff and building capacity limit the number of students that can be enrolled.
Peace Lutheran School holds accreditation status from the National Lutheran School Accreditation Association.
The school is also accredited by the Michigan Association of Non-Public Schools.
Peace Lutheran School is a state-approved educational institution, operating within the framework of the Michigan State law, and is under the jurisdiction of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod as well as the State Superintendent of Public Instruction.
Peace Lutheran School is administered according to the State of Michigan's required standards of elementary education.
All teaching personnel are certified by the State of Michigan and by the Board of Parish Education of the Lutheran Church.
