Overview
Our buildings and yards were designed for the specific needs of the young child.
We have over 10,000 square feet of indoor play space. Each classroom has an adjoining play yard that is equipped with play equipment appropriate to the students' motor development. Large shade trees and restful areas are available for quiet play. Hadley School offers computer classes in our special Computer Lab. We are also delighted to have two swimming pools on our premises. Our students look forward to water play during the summer months. We are proud to have served the community since 1943 at this same location.
OUR PHILOSOPHY We believe a child's first school experience should be in a loving and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to develop their natural desire to learn. Our goal is to provide a wealth of experiences in a happy and healthy environment to help your child develop socially, emotionally, physically, and above all, intellectually.
OUR PROGRAM Our program is academically based so that our students have the optimum opportunity for learning.
Our year-round program includes reading readiness, pre-math, music, safety, story-time; self help skills, clay, dough, easel painting, finger painting, cutting and pasting, puzzles, science, and motor development.
Serving children and their families since 1906 with programs of the highest quality, Broadoaks is a private, non-profit demonstration school serving approximately 400 children in preschool through 8th grade and their families during the school year and summer programs each year.
The school emphasizes developmentally-based early childhood, elementary and middle school education as the foundation for later school success, social responsibility, and lifelong learning.
