Overview
Green House Preschool and Kindergarten, Inc., is committed to enriching the lives of young children while expanding their minds.
It is the school's mission to develop the "whole child" - one who, in mind and body, flourishes through positive experience around him/herself as provided by a staff of trained and nurturing caretakers.
Our philosophy for the education of young children is one that takes into account the child's individuality.
Our goal is simple: to instill in each child a love for learning as well as for themselves.
We provide a safe, loving and creative environment in which they can express themselves and learn through their play experience.
Our faculty works hard to make sure that each child is able to grow socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually without pressure or frustration.
At Hooks Lane School we have two classes. Our Junior Class is our Nursery class and our Seniors are Pre-Kindergarten.
Our children grow through a hands on curriculum of music, movement, art, literature, math, science and language arts, as well as, activities for emotional, social and motor skills.
All curriculum is planned and supervised by NJ certified teachers and assistant teachers who have had many years of experience in the early childhood field.
Our staff is trained in CPR and First Aid and completes the maximum hours of training required by the NJ Department of Children and Families.
We are licensed by the NJ Department of Children and Families in the Department of Human Services and are inspected by the Borough of Fort Lee for health and fire safety. All certificates are current and in good standing.
