First Lutheran School opened its doors in 1953 with a commitment to educational excellence.
Since that time, the school has grown to offering a complete elementary program with related services... and yet, the excellence in education has been maintained.
Raising children is a challenging, demanding task. First Lutheran School is dedicated to teaching academic discipline, a student's respect for others, and most importantly, a Christian education where children learn about the love of their Lord, Savior, and Friend, Jesus Christ.
Our school will work in partnership with you as a family in educating your child.
The teaching staff is certified by the Oklahoma State Department of Education.
Post-graduate studies are common activities for the faculty. In addition to college level courses, teachers attend staff development workshops, conferences, and other professional growth opportunities that strengthen their teaching skills.
St. Mary's Catholic School is accredited by the Oklahoma Catholic Schools Accrediting Association.
St. Mary's School assists parents in the education and formation of their children ages three (Preschool I) through eighth grade.
Students participating in this program gain in eye-hand coordination, resulting in improved academic achievement.
Teachers at St. Mary's began using the program three years ago.
Noticeable improvement in student attention, focus and handwriting skills have been identified.
