Overview
Education is one of the most important choices a Christian parent makes for a child. First Baptist Christian Academy provides parents with Christ-centered classrooms designed to educate children using curriculum that is biblically based. Founded in 2001, FBCA in Troy, MO is growing and serving the Lincoln County area. Classes are taught by trained and caring, committed Christians who love God and love children. Parents can be confident that a child enrolled at FBCA will receive a quality education within a Christian environment that is healthy and encouraging. As FBCA STARS, our vision is: Seeking to know God-2 Peter 3:18; Training in godliness-1 Timothy 4:12; Achieving academic excellence-2 Timothy 2:15; Relating to others in love-John 13:34-35; and Serving others as Christ served-Philippians 2:5-7.
Inspired by the teachings of Jesus Chrsit, we teach our students to pray, love and serve.
We believe that the family is the primary educator and that our school is an extension of our teaching and an educational agent for our children, for ourselves, and for our entire parish community.
The goals of the educational programs are to develop students' God-given talents to their greatest potential; to encourage responsible behavior through classroom duties and group activities; to promote courtesy and respect for all persons; to promote growth in spiritual life through religious instruction, participation in Mass celebrations, and service by helping others; and to encourage Christian living through example and instruction.
