Faith Community School's mission is to provide each child with a spiritual, academic, and social environment in which Christ is the foundation of their learning experience.
The curriculum that we choose will be spiritually and academically challenging.
Our aim is to actively engage learners and to equip them to think, not just memorize facts.
We plan to accomplish this goal by teaching to all learning styles.
The curriculum of our choice will also be aligned amongst the grades.
Juneau Montessori School, a private preschool located in the historic Mayflower School at 750 St. Ann’s Avenue in Douglas, operates programs for children ages 15 months through Kindergarten. Formed in 1985, this non-profit corporation is overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors and is certified by the Association Montessori Internationale. While the school’s focus is to provide a rich educational experience, it also provides high quality before and after school care.
