Located on 19 acres at the base of the Wasatch mountains, The Heritage Community has been a nonprofit leaders of residential care for teenagers ages 12-18 since 1984. Special Education schools enable students to focus and succeed academically while working with masters-level therapists to overcome or cope with mental health, behavioral health and neurological challenges. The Elevate Academy is for student suffering from depression or other mood disorders, anxiety or attachment struggles, or who have had traumatic experiences. Elevate's goal is to first engage students in relationships and an active and holistic life, and the second goal is to Empower them to learn skills and implement plans for a bright future.
The Spark Academy leads the nation in neurodiverse and Autism spectrum treatment. Utilizing an attunement-regulation-competency model, Spark first addresses the trauma of living a neurodiverse life which better equips students for the specia skills for a happy, productive future.
