Founded in 1974, Chemung Valley Montessori offers a fully-certified Montessori program at the preschool, kindergarten, elementary and middle school levels.
The non-profit, non-sectarian school operates five days a week, following a calendar similar to local school districts and offers curriculum-based before and after-school programs for enrolled students.
Embracing the Montessori philosophy, and, through a dynamic partnership of child, parent and teacher, we nurture individual potential, cultivate a passion for lifelong learning, and encourage responsible participation in the classroom, the community and the world.
In our classrooms you will find child-centered curriculum and individualized instruction; multi-age grouping; materials designed to fulfill physical and cognitive needs at each developmental level; Montessori-trained and certified faculty; hands-on learning; a connection to the environment, beginning in the classroom; opportunities for life skills; respectful, supportive community; and collaboration and cooperation.
Saint Mary Our Mother School is committed to providing an excellent Catholic elementary education, pre-school through grade six.
We provide small classes in a warm, nurturing environment with dedicated teachers who help to guide students spiritually, academically and morally.
Founded in 1959 as an educational ministry of the parish of Saint Mary Our Mother, our school warmly welcomes children of all faiths to be part of our school family.
The school is a faith-community working towards fostering the dignity of the person and responding to the need for justice and peace in our global society.
Saint Mary Our Mother educates the whole person by sharing with the parents their responsibility to foster spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and physical growth in their children.

Sibling Tuition Discount: CVMS is offering a Sibling Tuition Discount for the 2019-2020 school year.
