Overview
Catholic Central is the oldest co-educational diocesan Catholic high school in the United States.
Since our founding in 1906, we have been proud to provide a Catholic education in Grand Rapids, Michigan, a culturally rich environment where our students learn to live the Dominican pillars.
At the core of every lesson is the school's commitment to forming servant leaders - through prayer, study, service, and community.
For more than 60 years, we have inspired students to actively live out their faith in the classroom, on the field, on the stage and in the community based on the principle that faith and education are inextricably bound.
Guided by the Catholic faith, we are a warm, welcoming community dedicated to helping students expand their knowledge, develop their character and reach their full potential.
Here, students are taught a rigorous, faith-based academic curriculum, along with lessons that go far beyond the classroom. These include the importance of acting rightly and serving generously, the virtues of faith, responsibility and respect, and the values of integrity, family and life.
