Briarwood is able to accomplish this because of the excellence of the academic program, the quality and dedication of its staff, and the quality of the school environment. Briarwood Academy is a college preparatory school.
The mission of the school is to prepare average and above average students for college, technical school, and employment.
The school recognizes that educational preparation is best accomplished within a well-rounded program that includes the academics, literary, sports, and extra-curricular activities, all of which stress values, citizenship, and achievement.
Nathanael Greene Academy is located in Siloam, Georgia near Lake Oconee and Greensboro, Georgia.
The school is midway between Atlanta and Augusta with immediate access to Interstate 20.
In addition, Athens and the University of Georgia and Milledgeville and Georgia College are both within 45 minutes of the school campus.
The curriculum is college prep in high school with the middle school and elementary school curriculum geared toward preparation for that level of educational instruction.
