Overview
The philosophy on which Blessed Sacrament Preschool is based centers upon making the child's first school experience a positive one.
We offer the children a warm, loving, God-filled environment where they can develop a positive self-concept as they actively explore their world and where they interact with the teacher and each other.
We have a structured but flexible and informal setting where the children enjoy learning through a variety of hands-on activities and materials.
We present a religion program but also incorporate religious concepts and values in all we do throughout our day.
We also present social and scientific fun, language and math skills at their level and interest, motor skills, and development in social and emotional and reasoning skills.
We do a lot of creative, musical and motor activities.
Praying together and developing sensitivity to the feelings and needs of others are important steps toward developing Christian attitudes in children and are an important part of our preschool program.
Christ the King School is dedicated to providing a quality education for all its students.
A total experience, solidly based on Catholic values, attempts to prepare students for life in a culture that is becoming increasingly materialistic.
The moral, spiritual, academic and physical education of the whole child is the foundation of the curriculum.
Daily opportunities for spiritual and moral growth contribute to a true sense of self-worth, while academic and physical challenges foster a true sense of accomplishment and self-knowledge.
The development of leadership skills, communication skills, compassion for others, and a sense of environmental stewardship are top priorities.
