Overview
A progressive boarding and day Friends school for grades 7-9 offering experiential, Montessori-style education, outdoor trips, and a working farm in a no-cell phone or personal laptop environment.
Anami Montessori School is an AMI (Association Montessori International) recognized school in Charlotte, NC. (AMI is the only organization Dr. Montessori herself created.) We have mixed ages in each carefully-prepared classroom.
All children progress at their own pace as they work with a variety of inviting didactic materials, have freedom (with responsibility) to choose their work, and become confident, well-rounded individuals.
We adhere to the Montessori philosophy of "Preparation for Life.".
