Notes for Prospective Students

At Perkins School for the Blind, our goal is to prepare every student for a successful transition to tomorrow. Our day and residential programs offer specialized education for children ages 3 to 22 with blindness, visual impairment and deafblindness, including those with additional disabilities. Perkins accepts students with these learning profiles: Pre Academic, Academic, Functional Academic, Life Skills and Deafblind. The Admissions team works closely with districts and families to determine the best program for your student at the time of enrollment.
