Open Mind School creates an environment that feels genuinely welcoming from the moment you begin the journey with them. One of the school's standout features is its ability to strike the perfect balance between challenge and support. Students are encouraged to push themselves to their fullest potential while receiving the necessary guidance and assistance to overcome obstacles along the way. This approach fosters a culture of growth and effort. We're really happy our family found this school. The 12 students per class is the just right size for my child.

Open Mind School is a school - and community - that delivers on its slogan of being Unapologetically Inclusive. As a member of the team, I have been impressed by its steadfast dedication to welcoming all learners, educators, professionals, and neighbors. I am honored to be a part of the Open Mind School family.

Our family's experience at Open Mind School has been nothing but positive. Since day one, our children and family felt welcome. We have two children attending the school (siblings are tuition-free). Since day one, the staff and teachers have worked with us to help our children learn in a supportive and open environment. We have a strong rapport with each of their teachers and always know what is happening at the school through personal communication with the teachers and staff, classroom newsletters, monthly school newsletters, and a flow of school emails. The teachers will give extra attention and support in areas where children need additional help and work with families to get the children up to level if needed. There's strong emotional support where children are supported to work through their emotions in a positive way. The school's ninja warrior gym is a hit! There's no shortage of extracurricular activities, such as art, music, science, trips to the local library, field trips, holiday decorating events, and summer swimming. We appreciate the hands-on learning approach the school has. For example, if the children are learning about how plants grow, the classroom will grow a garden. If the children are learning about money and their worth, the classroom has participated in a fully student-led hot chocolate shop where the students have been fully responsible for setup, the making of drinks, selling goodies and collecting the 25 cents per drink money - How fun! We love this school!

Open Mind School is inclusive, creative, and caring. My son is gifted in reading and math and he is thriving. He loves the content specialists and offsite class trips, and he is motivated to be a global citizen given the level of diversity of the school. It's a small school with a cool gym and great staff.
