Our family has been a part of Notre Dame Academy for many years. Our oldest 2 sons started in Kindergarten and went all the way through 12th grade. Our daughter is currently in 11th grade and our youngest son in 7th. We love our school for many reasons: 1. It is the only Catholic school in the state to offer the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum.2. Smaller Class Sizes -- in every grade, students have an intimate class environment, where teachers can meet their individual needs. They have specialized programs for gifted as well as the Father Colin Program for students with learning differences.3-Service & Extracurriculars -- All students are highly involved in Service Learning Projects (local charities partner with each grade) as well as multiple sports teams (football, baseball, basketball, soccer, tennis, lacrosse, etc.) Arts (band, chorus, theater) and Clubs (NHS, Model UN, Key Club, Art Club, Gaming Club, etc.) There is something for every student and if not, they can create a new one.4-Outstanding College Admissions -- Top universities love the IB curriculum and the whole-child, world-view approach to learning. They know IB students are exceptionally prepared. ND Academy graduates are getting into some of the country's best universities and receive considerable scholarship awards.last, we love that ND Academy is a Catholic School that welcomes all faiths. We're fortunate to have this exceptional school in our community, and I cannot recommend it enough to other families.
