Notre Dame Academy is a Catholic high school dedicated to Mary, exists to educate young women to make a difference in our world.

Notre Dame Academy is a Catholic secondary school for young women established by the Congregation of the Sisters of Notre Dame.
In the spirit of St. Julie Billiart, the school emphasizes the dignity of the individual person created in the image of God.
Students and staff pursue learning in an environment that promotes mutual respect and responsibility.
As an educational institution, Notre Dame Academy offers a curriculum that is primarily college preparatory.
While maintaining that its focus is the cultivation of the intellect, the school ascribes to the philosophy of St. Julie that its students should receive an education that "equips them for life." Consequently, the school encourages the harmonious development of the whole person: spiritual, intellectual, emotional, physical, cultural, and social.
Each student is urged to strive for excellence and the full development of her God-given talents.
Convinced that learning must be for life, the school provides many opportunities for academic, social, and spiritual involvement outside the formal curriculum.

  • Welcome to Notre Dame Academy, a single-gender high school for young women deeply rooted in the teachings of the Catholic Church and in the charism of the Sisters of Notre Dame. As a Catholic high school within the Diocese of Covington, we are proud of our strong tradition of providing an excellent Catholic education to young women for 116 years. Notre Dame Academy has made a difference in the lives of over 10,000 alumnae who serve our local, regional and national community in a variety of vocations and professions.
  • At NDA we are committed to a holistic education that develops young women to be confident lifelong learners who are excited about using their God given gifts to make a difference in the world. Our dedicated faculty and staff are focused on meaningful learning that prepares our students for success after high school. Whether in the science lab, the band room, the basketball court, the theater or an agency in the community, our students have a multitude of opportunities to learn and grow. We offer a comprehensive precollege curriculum that is enhanced by co-curricular activities in fine arts, athletics, service and student life. Our innovative use of technology provides a challenging learning environment that supports best practice and promotes 21st century skills.
  • Notre Dame Academy is the ONLY all-girls school in the Diocese of Covington and Northern Kentucky. The advantages young women receive in a single-gender environment have been confirmed by both research and experience. Our students are empowered to transcend traditional stereotypical roles. Their achievement in traditionally male-dominated fields and leadership positions is encouraged at NDA resulting in unlimited potential for each student.

We have been diligent in maintaining affordable tuition, thus ensuring that Notre Dame Academy remains accessible to as many young women as possible. Through grants and scholarships and our unique work-study program, our financial assistance program offers options to families who have concerns about costs.
