Near North Montessori School is one of the largest and oldest private Montessori schools in North America, more than 60 years strong.
We promote a culture of high academic standards, strong moral and ethical values, and a passion for learning and self-fulfillment.
We have a rich tradition of commitment to a quality Montessori education for children ages 6 months through 8th grade.
NNMS prepares children for life. While we do not know the challenges that children will face in the future, we do know that to lead a successful and fulfilling life, they will need to be resilient, confident in their abilities, creative and innovative problem solvers, and articulate communicators with strong critical thinking skills.
Our commitment to diversity promotes an environment of respect based on equity, inclusion, and belonging in which students become allies for each other while developing awareness of social and global justice issues.
All of these characteristics for success are evident in our Montessori philosophy and school culture.
