MHR is outstanding. When we moved here from the South Loop we had many great school choices in Evergreen Park. We feel lucky to have chosen MHR. The teachers are experienced and energetic. The families and students are warm and welcoming. We are confident that our kids will be prepared for high school and beyond.

As a speech language pathologist, who has worked in the school system for 15 years, I highly recommend MHR School. Prior to enrolling our son in MHR kindergarten, I toured the public school and MHR. I reached out to families in both schools for input. While I was impressed with both options, MHR was a clear winner. Our son is thriving in their kindergarten There are only 14 kids in each classroom, which allows for a individualized instruction. The kindergarten teacher at MHR is an example of what "highly qualified" looks like. She differentiates her instruction based on student need. Every student is taught at their level which makes it fantastic for learning and growing. Her classroom management is spectacular and customized for each child`s individual needs. My son loves going to school at MHR and seeing his teacher every day. He goes to Spanish, Gym, Library, Computers and Art weekly for additional enrichment. As parents we have been embraced by the MHR community. There are weekly events for families to participate in focused not only on socializing, but also service to others. I could go on and on forever about how wonderful the MHR community is and what an excellent decision we have made for our family.

I am an alumni as well as a parent and have nothing but great things to say about the school. My two older children are there now and we have loved every teacher we have had so far and I am amazed by all they have learned. I have been extremely happy with the academic aspect of the school and love the close knit, helpful community.
